Chris has over thirty-four (34) years of corporate, management consulting, leadership in sports, and dispute resolution experience. His experience has spanned numerous cross-functional assignments, including capacity building through the training of corporate executives and multiple mediations. Additionally, he serves as a guest lecturer on mediation at the Law faculty of the University of Professional Studies in Accra.Currently, he is a member of the Ethics Commission of the Commonwealth Games Federation, Chairman of the Ghana Swim League, Board Member of Modern Pentathlon Africa (CAPM), and President of the Modern Pentathlon Association of Ghana (MPAG). He previously served as a Member of the Anti-Doping Results Management Committee (African Games), a Member of the Games Court and Appeals committee at the Youth Commonwealth Games in Trinidad and Tobago. He was a Board member of the Ghana Olympic Committee and the Vice President of the Ghana Taekwondo Association. Mr. Essilfie was twice the Chef de Mission: for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 and for the Rio Olympic Games 2016.Chris holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Leicester and a Master's degree in Sports Organization Management from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. He holds a Professional Diploma in Financial Modelling from the London School of Business & Finance and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. He is a certified United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) consultant and Trainer, a Certified and Accredited CEDR mediator, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCiarb) UK. He has a certificate in Sports Law and is currently reading for an MBA in Sports Law and Leadership.
