Legal Aspects of Football Transfers

Course Introduction

The course Legal Aspects of Football Transfers is a four-week open course (every Wednesday two hours online), offered by the Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland.

The course is designed and delivered by recognized experts in this feld. It is being offered as an open online course and can be attended by anyone who is, or aspires to get, involved in  the  industry of football transfers, including, sports agents, Sports lawyers, football club administrators, football association officials, among others.

Week 2: Transfer Process and Stakeholders (2 hours)

Week 3: Financial and Compensation Aspects (2 hours)

Transfer Fees and Financial Regulations Third-Party Ownership (TPO) Rules FIFA's Training Compensation System Solidarity Mechanism: Implementation and Case Studies Tax Treatment of Transfers Case Studies on Financial Issues

Week 4: Dispute Resolution (2 hours)

Dispute Resolution Mechanisms Arbitration and Mediation Role of CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) Process and Procedures Common Types of Disputes Ethical Considerations Protection for Minors
